Uses Of Acetic Acid:

1. Industrial Uses
   Acetic acid is widely used in the chemical industry as a raw material for producing acetic anhydride, acetate esters, and vinyl acetate monomer (VAM). These chemicals are essential in the manufacturing of plastics, paints, adhesives, and synthetic fibers.
   অ্যাসিটিক এসিড রাসায়নিক শিল্পে ব্যাপকভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়, বিশেষ করে অ্যাসিটিক অ্যানহাইড্রাইড, অ্যাসিটেট এস্টার এবং ভিনাইল অ্যাসিটেট মনোমার (VAM) তৈরির কাঁচামাল হিসেবে। এই রাসায়নিকগুলো প্লাস্টিক, রং, আঠা এবং কৃত্রিম তন্তু উৎপাদনে অপরিহার্য।
2.  Food Industry Uses
   In the food sector, acetic acid is commonly used as a food additive (E260) to regulate acidity, preserve food, and enhance flavor. It is also the main component of vinegar, which contains diluted acetic acid (4–8%).
   খাদ্য শিল্পে, অ্যাসিটিক এসিড সাধারণত খাদ্য সংযোজক (E260) হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয় অম্লতা নিয়ন্ত্রণ, খাবার সংরক্ষণ এবং স্বাদ বৃদ্ধির জন্য। এটি ভিনেগারের প্রধান উপাদান, যেখানে ৪–৮% পাতলা অ্যাসিটিক এসিড থাকে।
3. Pharmaceutical and Medical Uses
   Acetic acid is used in the production of medicines such as aspirin and other pharmaceutical products. Due to its antibacterial properties, it is sometimes applied as a disinfectant or antiseptic in medical treatments.

   In agriculture, acetic acid is used in the formulation of pesticides and herbicides to control weeds and pests. It also helps in the preservation of animal feed, such as silage, by preventing spoilage.

   At the household level, diluted acetic acid is used in cleaning products, descaling, and as a natural disinfectant. In laboratories, it serves as an important reagent for various chemical analyses and experiments.
